Making T-shirts with POD (Print on Demand)

At first glance, it might sound a bit “drop-shippy,” but print on demand has real advantages — both for you and for me.

As a small business just starting out, producing large quantities of one design without knowing if it will sell is a big financial risk. Especially with clothing: you need to stock multiple sizes, and many printers require minimums per size. Print on demand allows me to test which designs you love, improve them over time, and eventually produce them myself if they prove successful.

It also reduces waste: garments are only made when ordered — no overstock, no wasted materials. I don’t need to manage physical inventory, which makes logistics simpler and the process more sustainable.

After a lot of research, I chose to work with TPOP, a French company that focuses on eco-responsibility, fair labor, and quality. They’re based in Europe, which means better shipping for many of you. This choice wasn’t sponsored — just aligned with my values.

The trade-off: if you order other products from my shop, the print-on-demand items will arrive in a separate, less personalized package. But I hope the care in design and quality makes up for it.

I truly hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I do — and if you do, feel free to share them on social media or send me your thoughts!
