This silk scarf is conceived as a wearable artwork, created from an hand-drawn illustration. Printed on 100% mulberry silk satin, it offers a fluid, luminous surface, while the sewn edges provide a durable finish.
The illustration follows the journey of salmon, beginning in the ocean in silvery grey tones, then gradually transforming as they move upstream, shifting into deep red hues of reproduction. A cycle shaped by instinct, metamorphosis, and sacrifice, and an inevitable, almost mythological path.
Its 80 × 80 cm format allows it to be worn in multiple ways: around the neck, as a headband, or in the hair.
Each piece captures a fragment of this journey, with shifting hues and the wonderful feel and properties of silk.
